A shelter, located in the Bucerías area of Banderas Bay, dedicated to providing rescue to stray, abandoned, abused, or surrendered dogs, with the goal to re-home the dogs either in Mexico, Canada or the US and promote the welfare of animals in our community. Our organization is made up of approximately 75 semi-permanent volunteers, 100 on-call volunteers and 50 foster homes. Since our rescue's inception we have officially re-homed around 200 dogs (and a few cats), about half of those dogs from Mexico and the remainder from Alberta and BC.
